I am a travelling, queer tattoo artist, offering botanical designs. I have been tattooing for nine years. My hyper-detailed tattoo style is based on antique botanical illustration; I attempt to accurately recreate the texture and patterning of plants, leaves, flowers, branches. I am inspired by how those forms interact with the body; I most frequently work by drawing the design directly onto the client (freehand).

Getting a tattoo is an act of creative defiance, personal expression and a reclamation of our bodies.

  • In 2018 I created the Plant Project, where clients would come to the appointment with an idea of what they would like a tattoo to represent, and I would research the Victorian symbolism of flowers and plants to find a shortlist of options. I would then draw and tattoo the chosen plant for them.

  • In 2020 I launched the Tree Project, which aimed to capture the beautiful (some endangered) trees of the local Brighton area. Clients would choose from a selection based on photographs I’d taken in the city parks, and I would freehand tattoo a branch of the chosen tree.

  • In 2020 I co-founded The Dollhouse, a private studio in central Brighton designed to be a fun, safe and inclusive environment, and in 2022, we expanded to a bigger premises with a wonderful group of artists.

  • In 2025 I left the Dollhouse and became a freelance artist, travelling around the UK. Join my mailing list to be notified when my books open (July 2025) for guest spots, including in Brighton.
